 All jackpots will be played under the GamesGrid general backgammon rules.

In addition, the following official rules will be in effect for all online Jackpots:


  1. To enter a GamesGrid Jackpot, players must have an established and funded E-Jackpot account.


  2. Jackpots will normally begin when we have all players registered and ready to begin to play at Round I. All matches of the jackpot must be completed in one session (unless emergency situations prevent completion).


  3. The Tournament Director reserves the right to adjust the size of the tournament at any time or to cancel the tournament in the event the registration process is exceeding normal time limits, or any other reason the Tournament Director feels is necessary for the smooth running of the tournament.


  4. If the number of jackpot players changes, the winning prize money will also change accordingly.


  5. If a player wishes to withdraw his/her entry, they may do so PRIOR to the start of the jackpot. They may not be able to withdraw their entry or receive a credit to their account once Round I commences.


  6. If a player has lost their connection to GamesGrid or is unable to play, penalty points MAY be awarded once the situation is reviewed by the Tournament Director. THE MAIN GOAL OF OUR JACKPOTS IS TO PROVIDE A FAIR COMPETITION, PRESERVING EQUITY FOR ALL PLAYERS AND PROMOTING GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP.


  7. The order in which the players are matched in Round I is determined randomly. Players will not know who the entrants or their opponents will be during registration/sign-up.


  8. In order to move from one Round to another Round, all matches must be played to completion. The number of points per round will be determined prior to the announcement of each Jackpot as well as the Entry Fee and prize money.


  9. The Crawford Rule is in effect for all Jackpots.


  10. Matches can be played ahead at any time as long as the next level of play is posted on the official brackets of that particular jackpot.


  11. All disputes during a match must be immediately brought to the attention of a Tournament Official/Director and all match play by the 2 players involved should cease until the dispute is resolved.


  12. Prize money will go into the winners' E-Jackpot account and may be withdrawn by requesting a check, PayPal payment or bank wire to [email protected] Payments will be made within 5 business days.


  13. Return on jackpots will be 90%. Specials may be run by hosts periodically with a higher percentage of payout.

ALL PLAYERS MUST READ THE ABOVE RULES AND AGREE TO THE CONDITIONS OF THE RULES PRIOR TO REGISTERING FOR A JACKPOT TOURNAMENT.
