Bill Robertie is a professional backgammon player, writer, lecturer and teacher. He won the World Championship of Backgammon at Monte Carlo in 1983 and 1987. He divides his time between competing on the international backgammon circuit and presiding over the Gammon Press, the only publishing house devoted exclusively to first class backgammon literature.
