Privacy & Cookies
This page describes what data GamesGrid collects when you browse the website, what third-party tools we use, and how we treat the information you provide us (notably, your email address if you sign up for the newsletter).
Note to the reader: This is a working draft. Final legal review and any region-specific clauses (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA, Turkish KVKK, etc.) need to be added before the page is treated as a legally binding document.
1. What we collect
Anonymous traffic analytics. When you visit any page on gamesgrid.com, we record anonymous information about the visit — the page URL, the referring page, your approximate country, the device type, and the timestamp. We do not record your IP address, your name, or anything that personally identifies you. This information is collected through:
- Google Analytics 4, configured through Google Tag Manager. Cookies are only set if you accept analytics cookies via the consent banner.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not require consent under EU law.
Email address (only if you choose). If you sign up for our newsletter, we store the email address you provide and use it solely to send you the occasional milestone update from GamesGrid. We do not sell, rent, share, or transfer your email address to any third party. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any newsletter email.
2. Cookies
GamesGrid uses cookies in a single category: analytics, and only after you grant consent through the banner at the bottom of the screen.

You can change your consent at any time by clearing your browser's site data for gamesgrid.com — the banner will reappear on your next visit.
3. Newsletter
The newsletter is operated on our own infrastructure (Listmonk, self-hosted) with email delivery via Amazon SES. Your email address is never transferred to third-party email marketing platforms. The newsletter list is used exclusively for milestone announcements from GamesGrid.
4. Third parties
GamesGrid uses the following third-party services for site operation and analytics:
- Cloudflare — CDN, DNS, web analytics. Cloudflare's privacy policy: https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/
- Google Analytics 4 / Google Tag Manager — anonymous traffic analytics. Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
- Google Fonts — typeface delivery (Lora, Playfair Display). Google's privacy policy as above.
We do not use Facebook/Meta pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, TikTok pixel, or any other advertising tracker.
5. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. For the newsletter list, this means: unsubscribe at any time and you'll be removed from our database. For analytics: the data we collect is anonymous and not tied to you personally, so there is no individual record to access, correct, or delete.

6. Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
This document is provided in good faith and reflects current GamesGrid practices. It is not legal advice. The final published policy will be reviewed by counsel before launch.
