Beautiful Backgammon Boards from Our In-House Brands
Designed in-house, built from real materials
Every GamesGrid board is designed by us. Our in-house brands each have a range of their own, and every board starts from the materials real boards are made of — cork, leather, wood, wool — one for the playing field, one for the exterior.
A real backgammon world, board by board
GamesGrid simulates a real backgammon world. In real life, backgammon boards come in many sizes, styles and brands, and players care a great deal about the board they play on — so we made it part of the game. And just like in real life, some of our club members are not only passionate players but passionate board makers too.
Every board has its own sound
The dice roll differently on cork than on leather, on wool than on wood, and so do the checkers when they land. We have put a lot of work into the sound, because that is what makes a table feel like a table and not a screen. Turn the sound on.
Brands with a character of their own
Each brand specialises in its own materials and accessories, with a style that is unmistakably its own — and what you hear changes with the board you play on.
More designs to come
This is a GamesGrid board in play today. Many more are on their way, each with its own materials, colours and sound, and we will reveal the designs in due course.
