GG Batbold

Batbayar Batbold is a first-year civil engineering student in Ulaanbaatar and the only one of seven siblings to leave Bayan-Ölgii for university. His family raises horses and sheep. He learned shagai as soon as he could throw, and he speaks Mongolian, Russian, English and Kazakh. He found the standard game on a borrowed laptop a fortnight ago and has been reading English-language cube theory in his dormitory at night since the second day. The dice have never been strange to him. The board still is. He plays a slow clock deliberately, takes notes, and asks his opponent afterwards how long they have been at this.
