GG AlGhamdi

Aisha Al-Ghamdi raced dunes outside Riyadh for ten years, one of the first women in the kingdom's motorsport, and stepped back only when navigation systems began doing the part she actually loved. She has kept the co-driver's habit and reversed it. Throughout a match she talks the line: soft ground on the left, coming out wide here, holding this until the crest, all of it about her own position and none of it about yours, and she keeps going whether or not anybody answers. It sounds like thinking aloud. Two members have said it is the most useful commentary they have ever been given by an opponent. She does not think of it as generosity. It is how she works out where she is going.
