GG AlQahtani

Mohammed Al-Qahtani competes in fighting-game tournaments on Riyadh's fast-growing esports circuit, where his tag is better known than his surname and his reaction time has been clocked, officially, at frame-perfect. Before the first roll he reads a new opponent's rating out loud, unprompted, purely to watch the reaction, a habit his coach has asked him to drop and he has ignored. He plays loud, fast and fearless, sharpest at the very top of a heater and somehow always last to notice when it has turned, the loudest presence at any lightning table. Tournament weeks are supposed to be the exception. They rarely are. Off the bracket, he wants a cash table or a chouette running, the louder the better.
