GG Karimi

Fatemeh Karimi taught secondary-school mathematics all her adult life and has played tavla for sixty-five years, since the first year of her marriage. She raised four children and lost one of them too young, in 1986. She lives with her eldest daughter now, who set up the account in 2024, and she plays for two hours every evening after dinner. She chooses her opponents, and she chooses the young ones. She will pass over anybody near her own age to sit down opposite somebody in their twenties, and she beats them a good deal more often than sixty-five years of pure feel ought to allow. She says almost nothing while she does it. Asked about it once, she said that people her own age already know what she can do. Given the choice she takes the single point, and it is at DMP that she has done most of her damage.
