GG Schroeder

Anne Schroeder spent thirty-five years in the Luxembourg foreign service, posted across eight countries on three continents, and her apartment is still furnished with the carpets to prove it. She learned DMP in a Beirut café in 1971 and did not come to the cube version until she was seventy-two, when she joined the small club in Luxembourg City to fill a widowhood. She speaks five languages well and three others for menus, and reads four books a week. Her checker play is old and good. The cube she has decided against, in the manner of a diplomat declining a local custom: courteously, permanently, and without argument. She is warm to beginners and patient with everybody, and once an evening, at a moment of her own choosing, she says one precise thing about your play that you will still be thinking about a week later.
