GG Atakan

Mehmet Atakan spins four nights out of seven in the harbour-side clubs, built his name on a sunrise set people still post clips of, and produces his own edits in a bedroom walled with egg boxes. His grandfather taught him tavla before he started school; the booth taught him what tempo is actually for. He plays quickly, except in one respect. If you are typing, he waits, hand off the mouse, until the message lands. He calls it manners. It is also the only reliable way to make an opponent talk, and he wants you talking, because a person who is talking tells him when to build and when to drop.
