GG Andersson

Erik Andersson has sat as a magistrate for fifteen years and built an observatory at the end of his own garden, where a red lamp tells the neighbours to leave him alone. He took the game up at law school and turned it into something judicial: quiet, structural, considered slowly and decided once. He holds that nothing across the table reaches him, and for the most part the record agrees with him. The exception is the ace-point holding. When somebody sits deep and refuses to come out, he checks the same count twice, then a third time, and his clock goes wherever his composure went. He does not accept that this is a pattern. Two colleagues have said so to his face.
