GG Lindqvist

Anders Lindqvist reached the world elite without leaving his flat in Gothenburg. He had logged a hundred thousand games online before anybody had seen his face, and when he finally turned the camera on he became one of the most watched players in the game. The streams run eight hours and longer, and most of the people watching them do not play.

He cannot wait. That is the whole of it. He decides at a speed that unsettles opponents and, on the bad nights, unsettles him too, and three separate coaches have told him to slow down. He has outlasted all three. He was twelve when the old server closed, and he has heard what the founder was supposed to have been the way you hear a story about a man who could hit any shot, told in a bar that has since been demolished. Cash-table sessions suit him best of all, since nothing there ever tells him when to stop the way a match eventually does.
