GG Boonmee

Somchai Boonmee trains fighters at a gym he half owns, wakes at five, and runs the young ones up the mountain before the heat arrives. He was a stadium fighter himself and will admit to the count of bouts but not to the results. He plays in the evening quiet after the last session, and there is one thing he will not do: accept a friendly against somebody weaker than him. In any uneven pairing he takes the weaker side or does not sit down, which the gym finds funny and which he does not explain, beyond saying that a man who only fights downwards stops being able to fight.
