GG Botha

Megan Botha raised ostriches across the semi-desert for four decades, a business of drought, fencing and animals that can open a man's chest, and she talks about none of it at length. What she does say, regularly, is that she is far too old for this now. She then enters every cup, both leagues and each side event going, misses nothing, and plays faster than members half her age. Asked to reconcile the two positions she says the entering is habit and the age is a fact, and sees no contradiction. She still uses the names the competitions had twenty years ago, and the division has stopped correcting her, because half of it does not know the current ones either.
