GG Jones

Jane Jones has directed from fringe shows in borrowed basements to the main stage, and mentions the overseas transfers more often than she means to. Divorced twice, both runs closed early, she came to this through the second husband and kept the board in the settlement. Afterwards you get notes. Not analysis: notes, the way she gives them to actors, three things that worked and one that did not, delivered kindly and in order and never more than four points long. Some opponents ask for them now. She learned the discipline at a roulette table, where she watched people refuse to be told anything at all. She has never given anybody the same four points twice, which she regards as the whole discipline.
