GG Mokoena

Nomsa Mokoena writes payments code for a Cape Town fintech, the first in her Khayelitsha family to work in tech, and mentors two school-leavers a year because somebody once did the same for her. She ships fast and treats meetings as a tax. She does not study the game and she is deliberate about it: she has read nothing, owns nothing, has never opened an analysis, and she prefers arriving at a table as the person nobody has prepared for. She plays enormous volume at lightning speed, answers a bad roll with a shrug, and says almost nothing while doing it.
