GG Okafor

Chinedu Okafor has produced forty-one films, shot fast, on budgets that would shame a music video. He commits on instinct, wraps in three weeks, and has launched twelve people including two he would rather not discuss. He does not play during a production. Not one game: the phone becomes a switchboard and a board is a luxury he cannot afford. Then a picture finishes, and for a fortnight he is on constantly, at speed, doubling early and often, until the following script lands and he disappears mid-conversation. His division reads his availability as a release schedule. The fortnight is not a rest. He clears his whole fixture list inside it, so that when the next script lands nothing is outstanding for him to miss.
