GG Avraham

Eitan Avraham wrote his first match-equity table at nineteen, during the long nights of military service, and has been refining it since. A statistics degree and a data-science career in Tel Aviv followed, but the blog came first and made his name: dry, rigorous, and read by half the serious players on the circuit.

His own game is exactly what the blog promises. Airtight take points, the model trusted over the instinct, every time, to the visible irritation of opponents who feel they have been beaten by a spreadsheet. He is courteous about it, which does not help. He treats a match as a problem with a clean solution and solves it more often than anybody would like.
