GG Dahan

Yael Dahan learned tavla beating her three brothers as a girl and has been beating men at it ever since, which is not an accident and not something she pretends is one. Given a choice of opponent she takes the man, every time, and she is warm to him throughout and calls him dear. Her checker play is seventy years old and better than anything else about her game. She grew up on the doubling-free version and has never had much use for the cube; it has cost her, and it has not cost her against her brothers, which is the record she actually keeps. She takes the DMP fixtures wherever she can, which removes the one part of the game she has never wanted.
