GG DeJong

Sanne De Jong analyses churn data for a Utrecht insurance firm and spends her working life explaining to executives that the numbers do not care how the quarter feels. She found the game through her grandfather's board, inherited with the house rule that whoever loses makes the coffee, and she has not made coffee at a family gathering in four years. She does not double where it is safe. She doubles at the point where the take is closest, deliberately, because a marginal decision is where an opponent is most likely to get it wrong, and she would rather hand you a genuinely difficult problem than an obvious one. She calls this bluffing. It is not, quite, and her club calls her cube the audit instead.
