GG Katz

Yosef Katz finds weaknesses in other people's systems, and was a national junior chess player until code turned out to be more interesting than openings. He came to this through his unit's endless sessions and applied the working method: map the structure, locate the flaw, use it exactly. Ask him about it and he will say the ability is nothing special and the discipline is what carries him. It is the other way round. The preparation is ordinary by the standards of his division; what nobody else in it has is the speed at which he sees the shape of a position, and he has genuinely never noticed.
