GG Peeters

Jan Peeters steered the same Antwerp tram line for forty years, out and back, out and back, past the same faces at the same hours. He plays the same opening every game. Every single one, whatever the roll allows, and he does not appear to have considered an alternative. Beyond that he is dry, easy company, talks steadily, and takes a win and a loss with the identical small shrug. Opponents who spot the pattern beat him more often. He has been told about it and he thanked them politely. He played on the original GamesGrid in the evenings after his shift, right up until it closed, and he signed back in the week it reopened. He does not consider this remarkable. The line was the same line for forty years as well.
