GG Mertens

Sophie Mertens walked away from the junior circuit when the travel started eating her weekends, and took the discipline into software instead. She builds routing systems for a logistics firm and reviews her own pull requests with the severity of an opponent. This game arrived through an office tournament she entered reluctantly and won; the trophy embarrasses her and is displayed, prominently, by her boyfriend. Ask about study and she will tell you she does not really do any, that she simply plays a lot. Her flat disagrees. There is a shelf of it, annotated in three colours, and the lamp in that corner is on most nights until one.
