GG Pujol

Marc Pujol forages wild herbs on the high slopes, mountain tea and genepi and the small bitter greens the old kitchens want, working from knowledge nobody ever committed to paper. He supplies three restaurants and dries the rest at home. His year runs from the thaw to the first heavy snow, because the way up is only open four months and he refuses to log on from anywhere else. Once the weather turns his name stops appearing, and the members who enjoy the match-up have learned to get theirs in early. New opponents reach him the way his orders do, through somebody who already knows him. An invitation that arrives cold gets no answer at all, and one that comes with a name attached gets a yes every time.
