GG Saakashvili

Levan Saakashvili took the national under-14 title, from a family where the question was never whether the children would play but how well. He writes back-end code for a payments startup and came to this at twenty, after a holiday chouette he declines to describe. Once a year, on his grandfather's name day, he sits down over the old game and loses. Narrowly, plausibly, with a long think somewhere in the middle, and he has managed it eight years running. Ask him about it and he will say the old man is still sharp. His cousins have stopped arguing the point in front of either of them.
