GG Flores

María Flores raised two boys on a bookkeeper's salary in Iztapalapa before a home game became, in her forties, a living at the city's live cash tables. The regulars underestimated her for about a year and she has been collecting on it since. Her sons taught her this game from a tutorial, specifically to give her something she could not take money at. That lasted eight months. The Sunday family night now runs for real stakes with a small cut off the top that she calls administration, both sons pay it, and the younger one has started asking for a rake of his own. Cool and wry, she sends the cube over the way she used to raise, and stays level whether she runs hot or cold.
