GG Harris

Amelia Harris runs for her university and her coach describes her as eleven-two and impatient, which she quotes herself. She starts like a sprinter out of the blocks. The opening six moves come out in under twenty seconds, every time, before anybody has settled, and then the pace collapses to something almost ordinary for the rest of the match. Opponents who have played her twice know to wait it out. Those who have not tend to panic and match her, which is precisely what it is for. She learned the game in the athletics club's physio room, where the injured play the recovering. Her coach has watched two of her matches and described the tactic as the only patient thing she does.
