GG Kelly

Liam Kelly kept a bar in Galway for forty years and hosted the sessions in the back room, where the rule was that nobody left in the middle of a tune. He will not take your resignation. Offer it and he simply rolls, and keeps rolling, and will explain afterwards that a game abandoned three quarters through is a tune stopped at the bridge and does nobody any good, least of all the person who wanted out. It costs both of you time. He is entirely unbothered by that. Fast with his own moves, full of stories between games, and holding still that the sessions taught him what a slow build is worth.
