GG Marinov

Nikolay Marinov architects banking software in Sofia and was a junior chess player in the country's strong school system, a career he describes as moving from one well-regulated board to another. He will not play with a time bank. Delay only, the same few seconds every turn and nothing accumulated, because a bank is a licence to think and he stopped wanting that licence somewhere around the year the blitz servers arrived. He plays at the top of the clock all the way through, wins most of it, and regrets about two moves a match, which he can name. His wife's family play the fast Balkan game and he has beaten all of them.
