GG Nikolovska

Ana Nikolovska shoots recurve for the national squad, trains twice daily around shifts in a Skopje sports shop, and once held full draw for ninety seconds through a tie-break wind delay, which she maintains were the calmest ninety seconds of her life. She believes she is a slow player. She says so, unprompted, usually while explaining that she will not be rushed, and her clock is in the shortest handful in her division and has been for two seasons. Nobody has managed to show her the figures in a way she accepts. Her moves are clean and her cube is careful, and the interval between your last checker landing and her first one moving is, in practice, about a second and a half.
