GG Radonjić

Marko Radonjić inspects the hydroelectric dam at Piva, where two decades have gone into seeing to it that a structure holding back a lake is never given the chance to express itself. He walks the tunnels at the start of each shift and refers to the dam as a colleague. His own routine is just as fixed: one game, starting at the same minute, and never another however that went. The habit came from control-room night shifts. A bad roll is variance the margin was built to absorb, which is the only remark he makes about it. The walnut set sits beside the keyboard and is not decoration. Every move on the screen he makes again on the wood, so the game finishes twice.
