GG Zhang

Ming Zhang sold fish at full volume and full speed in a Guangzhou wet market for forty years, and none of that energy has left him now that he is retired. He keeps a running tally in his head of what any regular opponent owes him across a run of cash games, and will recite the figure unprompted, to the exact game, before the next chouette has even sat down. He plays at a blistering pace, gambling the cube without hesitation and riding wild swings of fortune with a trader's cheerful fatalism. Decades spent shouting over a crowded stall left him too loud and too fast for second-guessing, and he brings the same energy to the tables: quick, boisterous, and never quiet for long.
