About Lukas Gruber

Lukas Gruber has run the poker room of a grand Vienna casino for fifteen years, having started as a nineteen-year-old chip-runner in a borrowed dinner jacket. Every kind of player has come through his tables and he has been sorting them into categories for most of that time, privately, with names he has never published. He has the soundest cube in this tier, which is not what people remember about him. What they remember is that at the end of the match he tells them, pleasantly and in two sentences, which type they are, and that he is almost always right, and that there is no way to hear it as a compliment.
