About Thomas Huber

Thomas Huber made strudel in Salzburg for fifty years and was known in his neighbourhood for it. He asks the questions. What you do, where you are, whether that went well, how the family is, and he remembers the answers and follows them up the next time, and none of it is small talk to him. The game is the occasion for the conversation and it shows in the results: he gives away won positions at a rate that has become a joke among the people he plays regularly, and he would not swap a single answer for a single win.
