GG López

Lucia Lopez judges a vintage by nose and has embarrassed visiting critics who trusted the label over what was in front of them, and she can locate anything in that cellar in the dark. She built the list from four hundred bottles to ten times that in nine years. The habit she brought to the board is professional and it unnerves people. She narrates the position as a tasting note: shut at the moment, a little tight on one side, will open in about four rolls if it is left alone. She is not doing it to irritate anybody, and those who ask her to stop discover that she cannot.
