GG Bouchard

Jessica Bouchard grew up in Rimouski and moved to Montreal at eighteen with a guitar and half a demo tape. Her band has two EPs out, tours Quebec in a borrowed van, and her rent comes from shifts at a Mile End record shop. The board arrived by way of the bassist's grandfather and now lives on the van's dashboard. She takes the box in every chouette she can get into, and the reason is the part everybody finds strange: she likes the six voices explaining what she should have done, immediately, all at once. She listens to every one of them and then does what she was going to do anyway.
