GG Procházková

Lucie Procházková engraves crystal in a family workshop, glass that ships to palaces and, increasingly, to collectors who come to watch her work rather than to buy it. One slip ruins a month. There have been very few slips in forty years. She takes the same view of a season: she plays the fixture in front of her and does not look at the standings until the last one is finished, not at any point, not even when somebody tells her out loud. She has been congratulated on promotions she did not know she had earned, and has twice thanked the wrong person for the wrong result.
