GG Svoboda

Petr Svoboda left a Moravian village to study economics in Prague, discovered the university's lightning backgammon scene in his first week, and has built most of his schedule around it ever since. He is the youngest of the regular online night crowd and comfortably its loudest, and when a cash game turns against him he rarely plays it out: he closes the table and opens a fresh one, certain the next seat owes him better luck, a habit that has cost him more than any single roll. He plays at a reckless, blistering pace, throwing the cube without fear, dazzling hot and cheerfully unravelling cold. His flatmates have learned to recognise the sound of a session going badly from the next room.
