GG Iversen

Sofie Iversen operates the on-air graphics desk for Copenhagen's evening news, the person whose finger actually lands the caption the instant the anchor stops speaking, with one mistimed cue in nine years that she can still describe frame by frame. She says openly that the dice decide too much of a match and the cube rewards too much guessing, but the clock, she insists, never lies, which is why she trusts it over her own reads. She swims with a dawn club through the winter and edits wedding videos for friends at cost. At the board she keeps every cue tight and every silence short, refusing to leave dead air for an opponent to settle into, the control room's reigning terror on a between-bulletins break.
