GG Rotaru

Ana Rotaru runs a call-centre floor in Chișinău where the queue hangs on a wall screen and nobody has to be told how the day is going. She tells anybody who will listen that she plays this for the pleasure of it and does not follow the table. She looks at the table about once an hour. On a slow evening it is oftener than that, and an opponent who noticed the timestamps established that she had refreshed it twice inside a single match. She did not deny it and she did not stop. What she says about the standings and what she does about them have never once lined up, and she is entirely comfortable holding both.
